Sunday May 1st - Trains to March & Rally in New York

On Sunday May 1st, South Mountain Peace Action will participate in a march and rally in New York calling for the abolition of all nuclear weapons, an end to the war and occupation in Iraq, and no war against Iran and North Korea.

-- The march begins at the UN at 11:00 am
-- The rally begins in Central Park (just above Columbus Circle) at 2:00 pm

Both the March and Rally Have Received Permits from the Police

SMPA will be meeting at the Maplewood and South Orange train stations in two shifts:

Option #1 -- If You Want to Attend Both the March and Rally

We will board the last car of the 9:52 am train from Maplewood which leaves South Orange at 9:56. Look for Mary Gallagher (with "Be About Peace" sign) on the platform in Maplewood where the last train car will stop.

Option #2 -- If You Want to Go Straight to the Rally

We will board the last car of the 12:52 pm train from Maplewood which leaves South Orange at 12:56. Look for Paul Surovell (with "Be About Peace" sign) on the platform in Maplewood where the last train car will stop.
