Peace Candidates Who Need Your Help

Maplewood and South Orange, NJ, have Congressmen (Donald Payne and Bill Pascrell) who are strong opponents of the war in Iraq. Here are some other key peace candidates who need help in 2006:

Linda Stender

Stender-1.jpgCandidate for Congress in NJ's 7th District (includes Springfield and Union). Says the war in Iraq was unnecessary and calls for withdrawing our forces from Iraq within a year. Opponent Michael Ferguson supports President Bush's Iraq war policy.

Senator Robert Menendez

Menendez-1.jpgCandidate for Senate in NJ voted for the Kerry-Feingold-Boxer Amend-ment to withdraw US forces from Iraq by July 07. Opponent Tom Kean Jr. supports Pres Bush's Iraq war policy.
