Cindy Vigil2.jpg

More than 200 people came to Maplecrest Park on August 17, 2005, to support Cindy Sheehan's antiwar protest in Crawford, Texas.

A moment of silence and reflection was taken for all the troops who have been killed in the war

A second moment of silence and reflection was taken for Augie Schroeder

The vigil was initiated by Debra Liguori-Kaufman, who read a statement of support for Cindy Sheehan's protest and who expressed the hope of all that the war would be ended soon.
