The uncertified results of Maplewood's Democratic Primary are as follows:

Vic DeLuca: 1,928 (including 22 absentee votes)
Fred Profeta: 1,759 (including 42 absentee votes)
Ian Grodman: 1,750 (including 38 absentee votes)

It's a virtual certainty that Vic and Fred will be seated on the Maplewood Township Committee in 2006. Congratulations to Vic and Fred and deepest thanks to Ian for his dedication to Maplewood.

In the Columbia High School election last Friday, South Mountain Peace Action's Student Liaison, Dan Symonds, was elected President of the Student Body for next fall. Congratulations to Dan on his substantive and creative campaign.
