Response to Candidate Questionnaire by Terriann Moore-Abrams
Response by Candidate for South Orange Board of Trustees:
to South Mountain Peace Action Candidate Questionnaire.
REPLY BY TERRIANN MOORE-ABRAMS:
I support your organization and plan to become an active member.
I have been an active voice against the war from its inception. I have marched in New York and Canada and will continue to write and call politicians. The madness must end!
This war has made the world a much more dangerous place. As an American, I am ashamed. The aggression toward Iraq and her people is insane. The total number of deaths, injuries and suicide of men, women and children in Iraq, the U.S. and other nations is overwhelming. Many soldiers are being killed or injured, not by enermy fire, but accidents. Shooting each other because of poor communication. The madness must end. It must stop. We must stop it!
The cost of the war and other policies of this administration is causing an incredible and ever growing deficit. Our towns and cities no longer have proper coverage, because our policemen/women and firemen/women who make up half of our reserves are no longer here. They no longer protect our towns during local incidents, because they're in Iraq. The madness must end. We must end it. Now.
